Outfit of the day: Maxi Blue

I used to wear black all the time but I rediscovered colour in my wardrobe. I think this dark blue suits me a bit better. A couple of years ago I was cleaning out my closet and more than half of it was black! From then on I tried not to buy black all the time, but I guess when time passed I forgot all about it.
So what's your fashion trap? Do you buy the wrong colour or the wrong shape? Or maybe sale stuff that really doesn't suit you at all?

City trip to Maastricht

Last weekend I went to Maastricht with my boyfriend (sounds so stupid because we are 25 years together and not married, but officially he's still my boyfriend). We just had a few relaxing days in a beautiful hotel and walked, shopped an ate. I was amazed that Maastricht only had 2 plussize shops, and the worst part of that is that it's for older woman... What tot do when you're young, curvy, living in Maastricht and want to dress fahionable? I guess you go A. shop in another city, B. shop online or C. move to another city!!

Fashion kings

I found a great webshop the other day: Modekungen. It's swedish and they sell fashion, shoes, accessories and bags. The fashion is unfortunately not plus size but they do have amazing bags and accessories. In the bag department I found a cheaper version of the Alexander McQueen clutch (the one with the rings) and the Alexander Wang duffle bag. And I absolutely adore the deer ring and necklace!

Online plussize shopping: Otto

I can't remember I ever ordered something on Otto. And I know why that is. I think their website is hidious, the pictures are as well and their plus size clothing is too old for my taste. I may be 41 but that doesn't mean I have to dress in flowery curtains or polyester stretch pants!
Anyway, I was browsing through their website and I must say that the plus size range is expanded since the last time I visited and there is some great stuff in there. You still have to digg a little bit for your treisures but you definately have to check out the labels 'Zo ben ik' and 'Joe Brown'.
I ordered the maxi-dress below, and if it's all I hope it's going to be than that will be maxi-dress no. 7 for me. Enough...? Time will tell!

PS. The Asos Curve maxi-dress just came in and it's wonderfull!
Hope to make OOTD pictures soon!

Outfit of the day: The blazer

When I saw this blazer in the new collection of H&M I new I had to have it! I can wear it as a jacket but also indoors and I think it will be great with the maxi-dress I ordered at Asos. I used to wear lots of blazers years ago and then suddenly stopped wearing them. I don't know what happened but I'm glad I re-discovered them!

What about this gorgeous black and white lingerie shoot? I love every single picture. I guess this is how lingerie supposed to look like, on a feminine body with curves!

Outfit of the day: Dots all over the place!

Today I felt like wearing my dots again. I guess the black, white and red combination is never out of style and I really like it. The skirt you've already seen a couple of times but it's a great basic in my wardrobe. Whenever a dress or tunic is too short I can throw it underneath but it's great on it's own as well. So what's your favourite colour combination?

I coloured my hair the other day, can you tell? All the grey is gone and they put in a few highlights as well. I think they did a pretty good job! Very natural ;-)
