Outfit ♥ Gimme some flare

Dress  c/o Zizzi | Flare jeans c/o Zizzi available at Big GirlzOOPZ or Navabi
Ankle booties Steve Madden | Bag Pieces (old) | Rings Melano | Bracelet Asos

A few weeks ago I was invited to the blogger/press event for Zizzi at the Bobbery in Amsterdam. We had a little presentation from the head designer of Zizzi and she showed us the new colors and styles for next fall/winter collection. It was a color schedule that I personally liked very much: burgundy, dark greens, warm yellows and dark blue... right up my alley! If you follow me on Facebook you've seen some pieces I tried on. Unfortunately we have to wait a little longer to get our hands on them.
At the end of the presentation there was a little surprise for us: we had to pick some styles who are in stores right now or will be very soon (click the links in the credits above). I picked out this lovely flare jeans with side pockets. It wears so super great, lots of stretch, and I think it makes a very feminine look. I styled it with this long shirt dress which is great now with these flares but will be super great with bare legs later on in spring with some brown wedges I imagine. Or I can wear it as a jacket, and that makes it a very multi-functional piece. All together it became a bit of a 70's style due to the flare and the color combination and not to forget my ankle booties. Love it!
I'm glad my hair is finally back to it's original gingerly/strawberry color! It took me some years for the blond to grow out (due to a bad coloring job) but since my last visit to the hair stylist it's completely gone and a tiny bit shorter.

So what do you say to the flare: yay or nay?

Outfit ♥ Black and blue

Two piece c/o MS Mode | Boots Ted & Muffy | Necklace c/o Siervol

This two piece was meant to be in our next 'Fashiontwin' shoot with Edith from but unfortunately we couldn't find the time to set a date being the working girls that we are (lol). So here it finally is because it's a great two piece and I really wanted to show you. It's from the winter collection and on sale now or sold out as we speak. I like that MS Mode is trying more bold choices in their designs and if you think this is too much together you can always wear it as seperate pieces. I love the black and blue colors, I think they go perfect together and I can't understand why people think it's fashion faux pas.
Remember Duo Boots? They changed their name to Ted & Muffy and make beautiful wide (and narrow) boots and wide fit shoes. I had my eyes on these over knee lace up boots and when they hit the sale they I couldn't resist any longer. They fit great and I like to wear them with dresses that need a little spicing up, just to make it more edgy.

So what do you think? Would you style this two piece together or as seperate pieces?
